While staying in Las Vegas with my sisters, we decided to stay at this Airbnb at the MGM Signature Suites. I know they aren't very accustomed to Airbnbs but I knew it would be a great way to save some money and to enjoy a new experience for them.
For me, It was the perfect stay, and I could argue that my sisters really enjoyed their first Airbnb experience as well. Whenever I travel, it is important that my accommodation has a kitchenette. This isn't because I need one, I could easily spend a bunch of money and eat out everyday. No, it isn't because I need it or even to save money for that matter, which serves as a bonus. The reason I like to have a kitchenette, is because I enjoy preparing my breakfast. When I wake up, I like to start my day off right with a good hearty meal especially when I know I am going to be walking a lot in Vegas. I also know that I am going to enjoy my meal. Not just pay $20 for some eggs and bacon (that has sugar) and a side tomato.
I know when most people go on vacation, this isn't exactly their cup of tea. To walk up and make breakfast but for me I don't mind. For this reason, I kindly offered to prepare everyone else's breakfast along side mine. This worked out terrifically. We saved money and we didn't have to fret where we were going to eat. We simply enjoyed out delicious breakfast by our patio that over looked the Las Vegas strip, had a great cup of coffee while chit chatting about our plans for the day and slowly got ready to go down to the pool or what ever else we had in mind. It was, for me, the perfect way to start the day.
In preparation for our morning breakfast, we made sure to stop by a local grocery store to pick up our supplies. Before I even left Canada, I made sure to make some homemade bread that I could snack on coming over to Vegas and also had extra to add to my breakfast. I bought eggs, bacon, celery, mushrooms and cucumber. For every other day, I bought some peanut butter and butter for my bread.
In this meal I had:
Eggs, bacon, sauteed celery and my premade bread
